About
Durham County Council awarded a contract to Cheesy Waffles Club, Durham Area Youth, Lisa McGee Education Ltd, SHAPE Performance, and sportsking coaching for the re-opening of a provider panel for Holiday Activities with Healthy Food from 2022 to 2025.
The panel covers all areas within County Durham and operates during main holiday breaks (Easter, Summer, and Christmas).
Providers must meet the Department for Education (DfE) framework of standards, including food provision, enrichment activities, physical activities, increasing awareness of healthy eating and healthy lifestyles, signposting and referrals, supporting families, safeguarding, and policies and procedures.
The contract value is £1,000,000.
The arrangement is open and flexible, allowing additional providers to join throughout its lifetime, though the Council may close the panel if sufficient members are deemed available.
The provider panel agreement provides no exclusivity or volume guarantee.
