Leicestershire County Council is seeking providers to join a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) under the Light-Touch Regime to supply Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme holiday club places for children resident in Leicestershire who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals. HAF provision must be available to school-aged children from reception to year 11 and delivered across the county, particularly targeting areas of greatest need, during the Easter, Summer and Christmas school holidays. Each holiday club place must provide a healthy meal, engaging and enriching activities, opportunities to be physically active and nutritional education, and must also ensure each child’s family develop their understanding of health and nutrition and are signposted towards other information and support such as health, employment and education. New Providers may apply for a place on the DPS at any time; bids will be evaluated in a series of rounds with set deadlines, the Council will inform Providers who have registered an interest in the DPS when a round is due to close, and once a round is closed the next round will open until the end of the DPS.
