Evaluation of China's First Emperor and the Terracotta Warriors Exhibition for National Museums Liverpool
Awarded 19 Mar 2019
About
National Museums Liverpool awarded a contract to XV Insight for the evaluation of the China's First Emperor and the Terracotta Warriors exhibition held at the World Museum from 9 February to 28 October 2018.
The exhibition featured over 180 artefacts from museums across Shaanxi Province, more than half of which had never been shown in the UK, and attracted over 600,000 visitors, including nearly 100,000 from the group travel market.
The evaluation involved developing a comprehensive report on the exhibition's success, impact, and legacy, utilising existing project analysis to review effects on staff, project planning and delivery processes, and organisational operations.
It included an internal staff survey covering both those directly involved in delivery and those indirectly impacted.
The contract value was £11,850.
