The Natural History Museum is seeking a Principal Contractor to undertake the exhibition fit-out of Gallery 33, a new permanent gallery at South Kensington opening in September 2027 that will replace the current Creepy Crawlies gallery on the ground floor of the Grade 1 listed Waterhouse East Building. Aimed at children aged 4–7 and their adults, the gallery will combine the museum’s collections with hands-on, multi-sensory interactives to create a free, permanent space expected to welcome millions of visitors over a 25-year lifespan. The contractor will be responsible for the full exhibition fit-out and for sub-contracting an AV integrator and a specialist showcase manufacturer. Mandatory site visits are being held w/c 9th November; bidders must sign and return the NDA in the Tenderbox Document Library and confirm attendance by 10am, Wednesday 4 November to secure a timeslot.
