Tender: Mentoring in Education Programme – 1:1 Trauma-Aware Support in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Primary Schools

About

This programme is seeking a supplier for the delivery of mentoring in education within Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County. The service will provide tailored, one-to-one, trauma-aware support across eight identified primary school settings and in community spaces as required, offering preventative mentoring for children showing early signs of disengagement, those at risk of exclusion, and children exposed to serious violence as witnesses or victims. Mentors will work closely with safeguarding and pastoral teams in each school, equip children with tools to develop positive behaviour, communication skills, resilience and improved educational outcomes, and may extend support to families. The Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Violence Reduction Partnership (NNVRP) will support identification of schools and initial engagement.
