The supplier must provide officers experienced in working with vulnerable adults, families and young people with multiple disadvantage and complex needs, able to defuse sensitive or challenging situations, carry out welfare checks, provide additional onsite support within required timescales, and record information in the required record books and incident reports. Officers will maintain building security, manage front door access (including evening management of Gorton St), carry out building safety checks, monitor CCTV, respond to emergencies including fire alarm activations and safeguarding concerns, perform out-of-hours bookings and emergency admissions per agreed procedures, and liaise with residents in a friendly and effective manner. William Lyons House is a two-storey supported accommodation for 14 young people with 10 self-contained flats and 4 bedsit flats, a communal kitchen, communal areas, a rear car park and a door entry system. The Emergency Housing provision includes two buildings with individual sleeping/living quarters and shared bathrooms, kitchens and communal corridors, and one fully self-contained building; these are two and three storey blocks with communal front door entry systems. Within the family emergency provision one Customer Care Officer will be based in either Central or Clare St and will be expected to visit the other family provision during each shift.
