Provision of East Sussex Advocacy Service for Adults and Children
Awarded 31 Mar 2025
About
East Sussex County Council awarded a contract to SWAN for the provision of the East Sussex Advocacy Service, supporting statutory and non-statutory advocacy requirements including Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) and Care Act Advocacy for adults and children, as well as independent advocacy for adults.
The service ensures the Council's statutory requirements under the Mental Health Act 1983 and the Care Act 2014 are met, with all advocacy requirements addressed through a single contract and a single point of access.
The contract, valued at £1,760,000, was commissioned by East Sussex County Council in association with NHS Sussex Integrated Care Board.
