About
The Department for International Development awarded a contract to the British Council for managing Component One of the Supporting Partnerships for Accountability and Civic Engagement (SPACE) programme, specifically the Pyoe Pin Implementation Phase.
The contract, valued at AUD 3,527,278, aimed to strengthen partnerships around issues of concern to citizens in Myanmar to promote more inclusive governance and improved development outcomes.
This phase built on nine years of DFID investment in Pyoe Pin, seeking to scale the issue-based approach to institutional reform in response to Myanmar's changing context, with measurable and communicable results and long-term sustainability.
