Awarded 02 Apr 2017
About
London Borough of Hillingdon awarded a contract to Niblock (Builders) Ltd for the installation of an LED communal lighting system at Yiewsley Court and Childs Court.
The project involved replacing the existing communal lighting systems in two sheltered housing schemes as part of a second phase of upgrades.
At Yiewsley Court (Horton Road, Yiewsley UB7 8HQ), the block comprises 25 client flats, a laundry room, and wardens' accommodation across two floors.
At Childs Court (Henman Lane, Hayes UB3 2YJ), the block comprises 26 client flats, a laundry room, and numerous large communal areas across two floors.
The works broadly comprised the design, supply, installation, commissioning, and hand-over of a complete communal lighting system with integrated emergency lighting, including LED luminaires supplied from control panels with local test positions.
The contract also included the provision of O&M manuals and training to the Hillingdon Housing Service representative in charge of the block.
The contract value was £134,636.
