About
North Of England Commissioning Support awarded a contract to Dencall Ltd, Dairy Lane Dental Practice for out of hours urgent dental treatment services in Gateshead and South Tyneside.
The contract, valued at £225,491, was modified under Regulation 72(1)(c) due to unforeseen circumstances arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, which impacted operational delivery.
The modification did not alter the overall nature of the contract and the price increase did not exceed 50% of the original value.
A 12-month direct award was approved by the Commercial Executive Group of Arden and GEM CSU, following a previous unsuccessful procurement, to ensure continued delivery of urgent and emergency dental care during out of hours periods from 01 October 2020.
