Award of Subject Knowledge Enhancement (SKE) Programmes to Support Initial Teacher Training Recruitment
Awarded 31 Mar 2022
About
The Department for Education awarded a contract to Archway Learning Trust, Arden Teaching School, Barr Beacon SCITT, and Birmingham for the delivery of Subject Knowledge Enhancement (SKE) programmes.
SKE is a key part of the Department's teacher supply strategy and supports recruitment to Initial Teacher Training (ITT) in hard-to-recruit subjects.
The programmes are designed for applicants who hold a conditional offer of a place on an ITT programme, helping them gain the depth of subject knowledge needed to train to teach in their chosen subject.
The contract value is AUD 9,477,000.
