Stoke on Trent City Council is seeking suppliers to join a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to deliver Section 19 Alternative Education Provision for children and young people, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The DPS will support the council’s duty to provide suitable education for statutory school-age pupils unable to attend school due to illness, exclusion or other reasons and whose education would otherwise be unsuitable. The provision aims to re-engage pupils, improve outcomes, raise quality across the market and provide value for money, with a focus on reintegration back into mainstream schools or, for Key Stage 4 learners, preparing young people for adulthood.
