London Borough of Camden awarded a contract to Catch 22 and The Brandon Centre for the Minding the Gap program, an innovative mental health service for young people aged 16-24.

The program, created by Camden Council in partnership with Camden CCG in 2015 and co-designed with young people, aims to improve transitions between child and adult mental health services, increase service reach, and destigmatize health services through holistic and integrated support.

The contract was procured in two lots: Lot 1, The Hive Hub, an integrated youth hub, valued at £550,000 per year (£4,950,000 over the full contract period); and Lot 2, counselling & psychotherapy service and systemic integrative therapy, valued at £368,000 per year (£3,312,000 over the full contract period).

The total contract value is £8,262,000.

The procurement used the light touch regime with a process similar to the competitive procedure with negotiation.

Each contract term is for an initial five years, with two options to extend for an additional two years each, potentially nine years in total.
