About

Sheffield City Council awarded a contract to Change, Grow, Live (CGL) for the Integrated Young People's Substance Misuse Service, providing a coordinated response to young people's substance misuse needs and additional support for vulnerable young people.

The service delivers early help and prevention through workforce development, including training, consultation, and resources for frontline staff in schools and other organisations across voluntary and statutory sectors.

It offers a harm reduction model of care with planned targeted and specialist interventions to alleviate current harm, accepting referrals from partner agencies such as statutory and voluntary children's services, schools, South Yorkshire Police, young people, and parents or carers for harm reduction advice, specialist support, targeted treatment, and referral to in-patient provision.

The contract value is £920,000.
