Award of Young Persons Drug & Alcohol Service to Change Grow Live by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council
Awarded 19 Nov 2021
About
Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council awarded a contract to Change Grow Live (CGL) for a specialist young persons drug and alcohol service.
The service provides support for children and young people to prevent problematic substance misuse and, for those who become dependent, aims to help them become drug and alcohol free.
Interventions are provided up to an individual's 18th birthday, with management of transitions to other services.
The service is designed to build on existing support with specialist drugs and alcohol expertise rather than replace case management by other agencies, and is integrated and collaborative with wider children's services to engage young people early, minimise risk and harm, and enable a whole family focus where appropriate to achieve long-term sustainable change.
The contract value is £192,230.
