About
Ofcom awarded a contract to Beano Studios Ltd for a children's online research panel to facilitate ongoing qualitative and quantitative engagement with children, used to gather views, test policy proposals, and co-design research and policy in an appropriate, safe, agile, and responsive way.
The panel builds and complements existing research tools designed to measure and understand children's views and experiences on various topics, including Ofcom's policies.
Research plays a vital role in ensuring that as Ofcom progresses with the duties in the Online Safety Act, changes best meet the needs and interests of children.
The panel is anticipated to be used for tactical projects where gaps in knowledge emerge, and smaller-scale continuous projects.
The contract value is AUD 990,502.
