About

Rutland County Council is seeking a care provider to run a new children's residential home. The council has purchased the property and it is being refurbished in line with early market engagement advice; the property will remain council-owned while the provider contracts to deliver services within the home and is expected to sign a lease (an example Heads of Terms is included in the tender documents). DfE funding has been awarded with requirements for the home to open early in 2027, so the appointed provider will need to be in place by then with recruited staff. Additional public market engagement has been completed regarding the service to be delivered.
