Tender: Development and Operation of Local Children's Residential Homes in Torbay (Council-owned and Provider-run Lots)
Released 17 days ago
About
Torbay Council is seeking experienced Ofsted-registered children’s home providers to develop and operate new residential homes within Torbay so children and young people can remain closer to their families, communities and support networks. The contract is split into two lots: Lot 1 (Council-owned Children’s Homes) requires one provider to work with Torbay Council to identify, assist with redevelopment/refurbishment/design decisions, register and operate two council-purchased homes (each providing 2 placements, total 4 beds); Lot 2 (Provider-leased/owned and run Children’s Homes) requires one provider to source, register and operate two homes within the Torbay boundary (each providing 2 placements, total 4 beds). Providers must already have experience running Ofsted Registered residential care services and be willing to work collaboratively with Torbay Council’s Children’s Services and other relevant officers.
