D2N2 collaborative (Derby City Council, Derbyshire County Council, Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council) is seeking OFSTED-registered residential providers to deliver Good and Outstanding quality, stable and local placements for children in care across the D2N2 area. The framework aims to optimise commissioning of residential placement provision by coordinating across the four councils to address shared challenges, gaps in provision and common needs among the children in care population. This opportunity is subject to governance approvals within each local council; the current number of looked after children aged 0–18 supported in OFSTED-registered children’s homes across the area is 427.
