Tender: Kirkby School-Based Family Wellbeing Pilot – Ashfield District Council
Released about 1 month ago
About
Nottinghamshire County Council, on behalf of Ashfield District Council, is seeking a single supplier to deliver the school-based Kirkby Family Wellbeing Pilot for the Kirkby Neighbourhood Board as part of the Kirkby Pride in Place Programme, contributing to the Education, Opportunity, Work, Productivity and Skills theme. The pilot will provide practical, trusted early support for families experiencing financial pressure, low confidence, social isolation or wider wellbeing challenges, testing whether a school-based model can improve engagement with residents who may not access traditional support services and complement existing provisions rather than duplicate them. Procurement is restricted to providers with an office in Nottinghamshire who deliver services within the area. The initial contract pilot period runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 July 2028 (19 months) with an available budget of £140,000 excluding VAT (inclusive of all costs); bids must not exceed this amount. The total contract value including any possible extension is £173,000 excluding VAT, and there is an option to extend up to 6 months dependent on satisfactory performance, funding availability and approval.
