Tender: Credit Union Incentive Service to Improve Financial Resilience – Hartlepool Council
Released 8 days ago
About
Hartlepool Borough Council is seeking a supplier to provide a Credit Union incentive service to incentivise saving behaviour among Hartlepool residents and improve financial resilience. The contract sits under the national Crisis Resilience Fund (CRF), running from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029, which aims to provide a safety net for low‑income households facing sudden financial shocks and to invest in building local financial resilience to reduce future crisis need. The CRF replaces the Household Support Fund and shifts focus from short‑term crisis mitigation to prevention and longer‑term resilience. The Council will deliver CRF services internally through its Welfare Support Team and through commissioned providers, with this contract commissioning a credit union service to support the programme objectives.
