Newcastle University awarded a contract to Nanomagnetics Instruments Limited for the supply, delivery, and installation assistance of a low temperature cryostat system integrated with an electromagnet field control platform, valued at AUD 90,000.

The system, funded by UKRI, is designed to electrically measure nano-scale devices as a function of temperature and magnetic field, operating from 5 K to 325 K under high vacuum (< 1x10-6 mbar) and applying direction-dependent magnetic fields via a double-tuned adjustable air gap electromagnet on a rotating platform.

The contract includes after-sales support and a 12-month warranty and maintenance.
