About

Big Lottery Fund, operating as The National Lottery Community Fund, awarded a contract to Never.no Limited for the creation and management of a social media voting solution for the 2019 National Lottery Awards.

The solution primarily used Twitter with trackable and verifiable voting hashtags, and explored voting on other platforms such as Facebook or Instagram.

The supplier monitored and counted social media votes, produced daily reports with tallies for each project adjudicated by the Electoral Reform Service, ensured voting adhered to Electoral Reform Services rules including a vetting process for one vote per account per category, responded to urgent enquiries within an hour and non-urgent within a day, provided a live dashboard for the NLPU, and ensured GDPR-compliant secure data transfer.

The contract value was AUD 1.
