About

Worcester City Council awarded a contract to Musson & Retallick Limited for an original public art commission celebrating Worcester's porcelain heritage.

The site-specific artwork will be installed within the environs of the Museum of Royal Worcester, using creative approaches to highlight the city's world-renowned porcelain history and material qualities.

The artist or collective receives a £75,000 commission fee, access to the museum's extensive Worcester porcelain collection and archives, and opportunities to engage with local residents, stakeholders, and ex-factory workers.

The project includes liaison with site partners and funders, as well as project management and marketing support.
