About

Tendring District Council awarded a contract to Shone Productions Ltd for the facilitation and provision of a professional pantomime at the Princes Theatre for the years 2024/25, 2025/26, and 2026/27.

The contract, valued at £280,000, is a concession contract.

The Princes Theatre initially hosted amateur pantomime productions until a decision in 2009 to trial a professional company, after which the annual pantomime became a Christmas tradition for local audiences.
