About
Torus Foundation awarded a contract to Citizens Online Limited for the provision of person-centred IT training for tenants in sheltered accommodation.
The contract, valued at AUD 124,373, involved engaging tenants aged 55 and over in a flexible and practical IT training programme focused on digital applications rather than technical aspects.
The scope included conducting IT skills confidence and needs assessments, liaising with Torus Foundation and the Torus IT team to understand the IT infrastructure, designing a flexible entry-level IT skills programme, and recruiting, training, and retaining volunteer digital champions in each sheltered scheme to support ongoing digital learning.
