About

OFCOM awarded a contract to TRP Research Ltd for the provision of commercial minutage and breaks reports.

The contract, valued at AUD 104,895, required weekly delivery of Barb data covering the latest available 7-day consolidated Barb week.

The reports were used to investigate potential non-compliance with COSTA rules and could be included in Ofcom's published decisions.

The service included data delivery only, with collaboration with the Standards team to ensure the reports met their needs.

TRP Research Ltd was required to have a relevant Barb subscription and provide data replicable in Ofcom's AdvantEdge TV analysis tool.

Deliverables included timely delivery within 10 working days after consolidation, robust quality checks for publication readiness, and demonstrable understanding of Barb commercial spots and programme databases.
