About

The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames awarded a contract to Newman Francis LTD for Independent Tenant and Homeowner Advice (ITHA) services for the Cambridge Road Estate Regeneration Programme, valued at £100,000.

The ITHA role provides independent and impartial evaluation and advice to residents, enabling them to interact fully and play an informed role in the regeneration of their homes and the surrounding estate.

The Estate comprises 832 existing homes on approximately 8.6 hectares, including high-rise, medium-rise, and two-storey terraced houses, with approximately 178 freeholders and leaseholders acquired through Right-to-Buy.

The adviser must remain independent from the Council, any prospective new landlord, or development partner.

The advisory role focuses on regeneration activities, excluding general housing management, repair issues, and advocacy.
