Homelessness Prevention: Youth Emergency Support Service (YESS) for 16-17 Year Olds
Awarded Unknown
About
The City of Edinburgh Council awarded a contract to The Rock Trust for the Homelessness Prevention: Youth Emergency Support Service (YESS).
The service provides an authority-wide crisis response for young people aged 16 and 17 who present as homeless and have no other current Social Work or TcAc involvement.
The aim is to divert these young people away from homelessness by encouraging them, where appropriate, to consider returning home or to family and friends rather than enter temporary homeless accommodation which may not be appropriate for their needs.
The contract value is £161,824.
