Hire of Festive Illuminations for Castle Donington Village
Awarded 15 Nov 2019
About
Castle Donington Parish Council awarded a contract to Gala Lights for the hire of festive illuminations over a four-year period for the village of Castle Donington.
The contract covers two locations: one around a bus station point and the other along the main shopping street.
The lighting columns have been altered to accommodate the festive lighting.
Some previous displays spanned across the street and were secured to privately owned buildings, requiring regular eye bolt testing.
The lights must be installed and ready for a switch-on event on the first Friday of December and remain switched on until 6 January.
Installation cannot begin before the beginning of November due to another event in the same area.
The contract value is AUD 49,696.
