About
NHS England (Commissioning Board) awarded a contract to NECS (North of England Commissioning Support) for the development of national guidance for providers and commissioners of NHS commissioned services, primarily Health & Justice services, to facilitate more open and inclusive recruitment and retention policies and practices, specifically regarding the employment of people with lived experience (PwLE) of the criminal and youth justice systems.
The guidance aimed to ensure providers and commissioners have evidence-based guidance to inform their policies and practices concerning the employment of PwLE and increase the proportion of services' workforces comprised of PwLE in a wider variety of job roles and levels of employment.
The contract value was £56,603.
