Released about 1 year ago
About
Leicester City Council is seeking suppliers to deliver tuition for children and young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), aged 5–25, where a school place is being sought or an appropriate place is not yet available. The council’s strategy covers commissioning High Needs placements from independent providers from 2026 onwards, including commissioning and procurement, funding and sufficiency. Tutors must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and deliver sessions in the student’s home, online or in a local community centre, following the age-appropriate national curriculum. Bookings are for an initial six-week period of up to 15 hours per week and may be extended. A supplier networking event will be held on Friday 31 October 2025; register interest via the Proactis portal to receive a booking form. The expression of interest window is open until Friday 31 October 2025, and the deadline to return the booking form is Thursday 30 October 2025 at 14:00.
