About
Cheshire East Borough Council awarded a contract to Cheshire Learning Partnership CIC, Create & Develop Career Solutions Ltd, East Cheshire Training, and Vita Skills Limited for the procurement and development of Adult Education Budget provision for residents and workers of the Cheshire East Borough and Cheshire and Warrington LEP areas.
The contract, valued at £300,000, aimed to commission learning provision primarily targeting learners seeking employment outcomes or on the route to gaining employment, following economic disruption from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The programmes were required to align with local economic need, Cheshire East's Corporate Plan, and the Cheshire and Warrington LEP economic strategy, and to demonstrate responses to the Covid-19 lockdown.
The commissioning also welcomed applications from providers to meet the needs of young people with Special Educational Needs or a Disability (SEND).
