About
Surrey County Council awarded contracts to Barnardo's, Spurgeons, Guildford Nursery, and YMCA East Surrey for the delivery of Family Centres and Family Resilience Services across Surrey's 11 District and Borough areas.
The contracts, valued at £58,519,180, commenced on 01 April 2024 and aim to provide early help and resilience support to children, young people (0-18 years, or up to 25 for those with additional needs), and their families.
The services are designed to build resilience, improve outcomes, prevent inequalities, and reduce the need for more intensive interventions, in line with the Children Act 1989 and Surrey's Helping Families Early Strategy.
