About

Sefton Council awarded a contract to 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust for the provision of a 0-19 Healthy Child Programme, consolidating health visiting, family nurse partnership, and school nursing services into a single universal public health service for babies, children, families, and young people of school age.

The contract, valued at £28,926,705, followed extensive review, engagement, consultation, and market testing, and replaced three separate contracts with Liverpool Community Health Trust that expired on 31st March 2017.

The programme supports the council's statutory duties under the Health and Social Care Act 2012, including reducing child poverty, promoting children's interests in health and wellbeing strategies, safeguarding, and improving educational achievement.
