About

DVSA - Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency awarded a contract to The Manchester College for the delivery of Air Brake Training to approximately 550 delegates over the initial contract period.

The training is intended for Vehicle Examiners and Post Collision Examiners.

Vehicle Examiners require working knowledge of basic air brake systems and advanced current technology used in large vehicle braking systems to conduct full technical inspections during roadside, fleet, or post-collision investigations.

Post Collision Examiners require more in-depth knowledge to investigate vehicle collisions and produce high-standard detailed written reports with supporting oral evidence for the Police, which are often closely reviewed by defence councils and industry experts.

The contract value is AUD 239,148.
