Worcestershire County Council is seeking suppliers to provide day services to people living in the county through a single Dynamic Purchasing System called Positive Days – Day Services. The DPS combines previously separate arrangements for older people, people with physical disabilities, sensory impairment, dementia and people with learning disabilities into one specification focused on enabling people to be well and stay safe, be independent and connected, and be supported, with emphasis on accessing mainstream community services, outcome-focused delivery, shorter-term support where appropriate and flexible delivery. All new applications (including re-applications) will be reviewed during September 2026; to be considered in that round applications must be submitted before 1 September 2026 at 12:00pm (applications received after this date and time will not be reviewed in that round). Suppliers awarded contracts under the previous DPS can 'fast track' their applications, the DPS will be open on a rolling basis after the initial closing date, the intention is to award contracts under the DPS from 1 October 2022 for an open period, and applicants will be evaluated against price and quality under a two-stage open procedure operating within the Light Touch Regime (PCR 2015).
