Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking a suitably experienced, qualified and registered mental health organisation to deliver a staffed supported living service in a new-build supported housing scheme expected to complete Q1 25/26. The scheme comprises four one-bedroom apartments and a four-person shared unit to promote independence and will support up to eight citizens assessed as requiring Supported Living with on-site staff presence to enable safe, sustainable tenancies. Commissioners require 310 hours of direct support plus seven sleep-in supports each week, including a full-time Senior/Team Leader presence, with a possible additional live night during an initial transitional period; care and support plans will confirm hour ratios. Providers must deliver recovery-focused, person-centred support in line with the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014, enable daily living skills and tenancy management, work collaboratively with mental health services, housing providers and community resources, provide robust risk management, safeguarding and crisis intervention, ensure staff are trained and skilled in supporting adults with mental health needs, and maintain CIW registration as appropriate.
