About

UKRI is seeking a supplier for magnetic bearing drive systems for ISIS neutron disc choppers. The tender outlines a single-supplier contract to deliver between six and eleven disc chopper drive systems to be purchased within the first year of the call-off contract; future systems under the same contract will follow this specification but may be adjusted to meet specific project requirements agreed at the project's preliminary design review. The total volume procured over the contract duration is likely to be in the region of 20 systems, although this figure is not guaranteed.
