Tender: Supply and Maintenance of Ultrasonic Rail Flaw Detection Devices – Network Rail
Released 4 days ago
About
Network Rail is seeking a supplier for the supply, maintenance and support of ultrasonic rail flaw detection devices to replace approximately 30 units approaching end of operational life. The procurement is a mini-competition under RISQS code C.C.3.4.5.6 (Ultrasonic Testing – Non‑Train‑Borne) to identify suppliers able to deliver new equipment, provide ongoing maintenance and support, and offer competitive whole-life value, with replacements procured on a phased basis and devices called off from the framework as operational requirements dictate. The appointed supplier must have full product acceptance ahead of the combined PSQ/ITT closing date, and all maintenance must be carried out by the Original Equipment Manufacturer; the anticipated contract term is three years from April 2027 with a two-year option to extend.
