Hertfordshire County Council is seeking a supplier to provide a registered residential children’s home service for two children and young people who cannot live alongside other children and young people and who have a diagnosis of Autism/Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or challenging and complex behaviours. The service will be registered with Ofsted as a single children’s home and will provide homes within two semi‑detached houses. A site visit is offered on Tuesday 28 October 2025; providers must confirm attendance to [email protected] by noon on Friday 24 October 2025 and numbers will initially be limited to two per provider (additional places may be offered if capacity allows). The council will procure this contract using the Open Procedure under the Procurement Act 2023 and requires completed tenders to be submitted by 12:00 noon on 24 November 2025; submissions cannot be uploaded after this deadline and documents should be uploaded as PDFs where possible. Tenderers should note that any resulting contract will be executed as a deed and will be subject to available financial resources, supplier performance and flexibility to meet changing demands, and the council reserves the right to cease the procurement or to award only part of the opportunity.
