About

Swansea University is seeking a contractor for the full removal of the existing duplex pair of top-drive traction passenger lifts and their replacement with a duplex pair of MRL traction passenger lifts at the Kier Hardie Building, Singleton Campus, SA2 8PP. The works will be undertaken sequentially with the right-hand lift (currently isolated but runnable for inspection) completed first while the left-hand lift remains in service; the left-hand lift was operational at the time of the tender document. Tenderers must ensure their method statement for removal and installation reflects the onsite situation and the project also includes all associated builders and electrical works as specified in the tender documentation.
