About

Cardiff Council is seeking a provider for residential care for children and young people aged 11-17 (with flexibility to vary if demand dictates) within Cardiff Council-owned children’s homes, with placements made following an assessment of need by Cardiff Council. The service must safeguard and promote the welfare of each child or young person, support them using the Trauma Recovery Model, and employ a strengths-based, person-centred approach to achieve positive outcomes in line with assessed needs and the child or young person’s expectations. This is an outcome-focused, rights-based service where delivery of individually important outcomes will be monitored for quality.
