Tender: Playpark Equipment Replacement — Seaton Sluice and New Hartley (Tender Oct 2025)
Released about 1 year ago
About
Seaton Valley Council is seeking a supplier for removal, disposal and replacement of playpark equipment at Seaton Sluice Young Person's Playpark (Beresford Road) and St. Michael's Avenue Young Person's Playpark (New Hartley). The contract requires contractors to excavate and dispose of the existing climbing frames at each site, supply and install a new inclusive multigym in each location, repair the surrounding area with wet‑pour surfacing, and complete all required safety checks after installation. Bidders must submit the provided form by midnight on Sunday 2nd November 2025 to [email protected], including company profile, relevant experience, detailed description of works and equipment, safety standards and regulations, availability and timeline, and a quote with individual costs. Applicants are encouraged to visit the playparks independently before submission. Submissions will be scored on price, quality, play value, design, safety, environmental impact, experience, maintenance/warranty, legal and compliance, timeline and clarity. Internal review will take place week commencing 3rd November 2025 with a final decision on 26th November 2025; the project is planned to start December 2025 and complete ideally no later than 8th Feb 2025.
This tender is suitable for play equipment suppliers and installers experienced in removal, wet‑pour surfacing and installing inclusive multigyms who can demonstrate safety compliance and relevant insurances; key considerations are the requirement for a detailed cost breakdown and project timeline, the expectation to meet environmental and safety criteria, and the relatively tight delivery window between the December 2025 start and the stated ideal completion date of 8th Feb 2025.
