About

Leighton Linslade Town Council awarded a contract to Russell Leisure Limited for the refurbishment of the play area at Linslade Recreation Ground.

The works included removal of existing multiplay unit, double seesaw, litter bins, and gate, with reinstatement of a new gate.

New equipment comprised a train-themed multiplay unit, an accessible roundabout, a car-themed springer, a goal end (excluding basketball hoop), and an educational play panel.

The project also involved new wetpour surfacing at up to six locations, including repairs to shrinkage and coloured wetpour graphics, and construction of a new 2m wide timber-edged pathway up to 15.3m long.

A post-installation inspection report from RoSPA was required.

The contract value was AUD 44,000.
