Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is seeking a supplier for the planning, management and delivery of the Omagh St Patrick's Day celebrations in 2027 and 2028. The Council intends to deliver a vibrant, inclusive and high-quality event to enhance Omagh's position as the flagship St Patrick's Day celebration in County Tyrone and attract visitors from across the district and beyond. The contract covers two core elements: a large-scale community parade through Omagh town centre featuring local community organisations, schools, cultural groups, performers, businesses and pipe bands, and a programme of town-centre animation and entertainment to create a welcoming, engaging visitor experience. Submissions are invited from commercial organisations, community and voluntary organisations, social enterprises and consortia that can demonstrate the necessary experience, capacity and capability to deliver the contract.

This opportunity could suit event management and festival organisations, consortia, social enterprises or community groups with proven experience delivering large-scale parades and town-centre entertainment; key considerations include delivering a high-quality, inclusive event across two consecutive years (2027 and 2028), coordinating multiple local participants and stakeholders, and demonstrating sufficient capacity and capability as required by the Council.
