Tender: Leicester College: Turing Scheme Partners for 2026/27 International Mobility Placements

About

Leicester College is seeking experienced organisations to organise, manage and deliver international mobility placements for selected 2026/27 FE and HE student cohorts after securing FE and HE Turing Scheme contracts in June 2026. The college intends to contract one or more providers to deliver high-quality employer work placements that enhance students' transferable skills and career prospects, with placements of 14 or 15 days (minimum 10 work/study days) or at least 7 days for students with SEND, scheduled between 1 October 2026 and 31 August 2027. Anticipated annual contract value is approximately £25,000 to £125,000 depending on provider capacity, costs and student volumes. Partner organisations must demonstrate experience supporting international mobility for UK further education students (including apprentices), evidence of tailored support for disadvantaged, underrepresented and SEND students, and a clear understanding of Turing Scheme funding categories and DfE grant rates for chosen destinations. Destinations will be assessed against FCDO travel advice and college risk assessment protocols, with attention to regions affected by political instability or conflict and potential travel disruptions.
