Tender: Kent County Council Dynamic Purchasing System for Adult Skills and Study Programme Delivery
Released about 1 year ago
About
Kent County Council is seeking suppliers to join a Dynamic Purchasing System to provide ESFA-funded adult skills and Study Programme delivery through its Community Learning and Skills (CLS) service. CLS manages the ESFA Adult Skills Fund, Greater London Authority funding, and ESFA Study Programme courses for learners over 16 (including 16–19 NEET learners); from 1 August 2024 the Adult Education Budget has been restructured into the Adult Skills Fund, introducing new learning aims for CLS’s £6.7m Tailored Learning Funding. The authority is inviting external providers to deliver previously partnership provision now treated as sub-contracting, including niche provision such as for Deaf/deaf learners, and to grow vocational provision that meets local labour market needs; outsourcing is highlighted as a route where less than a full-time post is required. Successful suppliers will sign a contract to be allocated work as needs arise; the DPS is split into Lot 1 for Adult Skills Fund learners and Lot 2 for Study Programme Fund learners.
