Tender: Islington Council Flexible Framework for Supported Housing and Floating Support (8-year, est. Oct 2027)
Released 5 days ago
About
Islington Council is seeking suppliers to establish a Flexible Framework over eight years, with an estimated start date of October 2027, to provide supported housing and floating support services. The framework will set quality requirements, pricing and terms so the council can commission services via call-off contracts in response to local demand; procurement of services will depend on presenting demand, available funding and availability of suitable buildings for accommodation-based services. The procurement aims to create a holistic offer covering accommodation-based supported housing—where residents have tenancies and receive care, support or supervision to live independently—and floating support delivered in people’s own homes, community or council settings (including street homelessness outreach), all working toward resident codesigned outcomes such as tenancy sustainment, reducing homelessness, promoting health and wellbeing, and greater independence. When opened there will be no minimum or maximum number of providers appointed and the council may reopen the framework during its term; call-off contracts will follow the framework terms as set out in the tender documentation.
