FLS is seeking suppliers for admission to a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to provide invasive vegetation control (IVC) services across Scotland’s national forests and land. The DPS, which commenced 8th September 2026, provides a compliant route to market for services that cannot be provided through existing contracts or to replace contracts that have terminated or expired; admitted suppliers may subsequently bid for relevant future opportunities procured through the DPS. Scope covers establishment operations including cutting (power or hand tools), burning, stump treatment, foliar application of pesticides, stem injection of woody material with sprayed pesticides or eco plugs, stem injection of herbaceous weeds, hand pulling of seedlings, steep ground/rope access work, non-chemical and non-cutting manual removal, chipping of cut material, traffic management and manual labour. Submissions for admission will be evaluated by FLS within 10 working days of submission (this may be extended to a maximum of 20 working days in individual cases) and successful applicants will be admitted to the DPS thereafter.
